The only remaining area of non-tidal natural floodplain covered by our project is at Hurst Park in Molesey. Hurst Meadows is a rare and important floodplain meadow which contains wildlife species occurring nowhere else in Surrey. Here is our film The Nature of Hurst Meadows:

 

The expected increase in river levels due to climate change emphasises the need to retain natural floodplain. This film shows Molesey flooding in recent years.
